Water Activities at Mount Faber Safra

it was a beautiful day, a day to look forward to by the scouts and myself. I have to overcome my little fear of water which had been always in me for quite some time after an incident when my neck was tangled by some ropes used for grabbing in a water rafting activity. That was like donkey years ago but i still remember quite clearly, maybe it's a phobia i guess.

I was late as I had a bad stomachache in the morning, making three businesses at one go. KD was there with me. was quite glad that he actually came for this scout meeting, moreover it's after his night duty in the army which he didn;t tell me until the day. heha..

I'm quite afraid of water to say especially when my legs aren't able to touch the floor of the swimming pool. On this day, The scouts are having water activities at Mount Faber Safra. It was quite a cool place to go to, should try one day if you never. We had fun, laughter, cheering and some booing.. The games the scouts, ventures, leaders/Rovers played are chariot race, fullest pail (don really know the name of the game) and some other games prepared by the 'instructors'. Rafting was introduced at the start of the whole event just for the scouts. It is pretty boring for us leaders as we had did it quite a number of time, but with more fun with waves and strict timing, that time, the inter-patrol games also added much more fun as we competed to be the best.

After the event, i was asked to accompany HL to swim and at the same time learn to swim the right way.i managed to swim but i only hit the halfway mark of about 20m. Hhaha i t was quite an achievement then. I felt better and hotter too, got a little bit tanned.
haha.. Before i end off, I promise that i will learn to swim before i get into the army so that i can skip those 'extra lessons' and of course for my own good i guess, right?

The word 'moo' in my name has given me quite a little bit of fame among my peers. They have been calling me moo, ah moo, moon blah bah bah.. At first i was pretty annoyed when people are making fun of me, but after long, i kind of get use to it and settled down.

I also did a research on my actual name. i was a little bit bore but I went to google to search and guess what i found? my name appearing on blogs but luckily not on other sites, you know what i mean. i read some of them and it's really me but most of my name appears in people's blog. glad it was!
